Turco Mediterranean Grill

We visited two years ago and came back expecting a similar experience, but the food quality had gone downhill significantly. The döner was poor quality and very greasy, and the salad was overly sour and tasted unpleasant. The bathroom was dirty, and the restaurant itself was a small, basic place that didn’t feel clean. The food was far too EXPENSIVE FOR QUALITY. On top of that, they automatically added a 15% TIP to our bill without asking us which I only noticed from checking the bill. Given the food and overall experience, that felt completely unjustified. We also had stomachaches after the meal. This was a very DISAPPOINTING experience that ruined our evening. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

The bread is still delicious, but unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn’t live up to my previous experience. I was also surprised to find a 15% tip automatically added to our bill without anyone telling us beforehand. I only noticed it after checking the receipt because the total seemed higher than expected. This is a casual place where you grab a meal or sit down briefly for a sandwich, and the service didn’t feel particularly attentive or welcoming. I would have appreciated being able to choose my own tip. If a charge is mandatory, it should be clearly communicated before ordering. Between the decline in food quality and the unexpected charge, I left feeling disappointed.
