A unique Middle Eastern restaurant that strikes the perfect balance between a laid-back, no-frills vibe and a warm, cozy atmosphere – perfect for dinner with a few friends or a date night. They have a variety of dishes and we ordered the fish in a cage, labneh, spicy whipped feta, lamb skewers, hummus, frena, grass-fed shish kebab, and tahini soft serve for dessert. Everything was delicious, with a few real standouts. The labneh was incredible — rich, creamy, and paired beautifully with the figs. We loved it so much that we ordered a second serving! The frena was another highlight: a little oily, perhaps, but wonderfully soft, flavorful and absolutely worth it. Both the lamb skewers and grass-fed shish kebab were delicious, with the lamb being especially juicy and fresh. The fish in a cage was also special, beautifully spiced and perfectly cooked. For dessert, the tahini soft serve was a unique and creative way to finish the meal. The generous portion of crunchy cashews added a great texture, although the sauce at the bottom was a little overpowering for my taste. Still, it’s definitely worth trying! Overall, Shukette delivers bold flavors, creative dishes and a unique dining experience. There’s plenty to share and explore on the menu, and I’d definitely come back — especially for the lamb, labneh and frena!
