Nueva Victoria Restaurant

My two friends and I were looking for a Latin-Chinese restaurant in the Astoria neighborhood for dinner, as we wanted to avoid driving into Manhattan. I remembered the former Nuevo Jardín de China, which is now under new ownership and operating as La Nueva Victoria Restaurant, so we decided to give it a try, and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh, delicious, and satisfying, making it a wonderful dining experience. Despite it being a busy evening, the service was professional, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, allowing us to relax and enjoy our dinner. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which added to our overall positive impression. We were delighted to discover this neighborhood gem and appreciated the quality of the food, the welcoming service, and the pleasant environment. We will definitely be back and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great Latin-Chinese dining experience in Astoria!

Nueva Victoria Restaurant is a great spot for flavorful food. The yellow rice was delicious, and the sweet plantains, grilled fish, and mussels were all cooked nicely and full of flavor. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. Definitely looking forward to coming back!
