We had a nice experience overall at Montoya. The restaurant was very clean, and the food was good. They also went out of their way to make the birthday we were celebrating feel special, which we really appreciated. That said, there were a few frustrating issues. We made a reservation for 1215 and when we got there they said the kitchen is running behind. I would have an appreciated a call or text with this update considering I made a reservation. I also feel the restaurant could have done a bit of service recovery ie: offer us something free to make up for the inconvenience. Service was quite slow, and the prices on the lunch menu were different (higher) from what was listed on the website. The menu item I originally ordered was unavailable, and I was still charged the higher price of the original item rather than being adjusted to the item I received.

I love this place. I had a birthday lunch today and the service, food and laughs with the staff was a great combination. Great addition to the neighborhood. Go, Go , Go….. ✌️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
