Masalawala & Sons

I loved everything about this restaurant. The food, the vibe, the decor, the service! I also loved that the crowd was one of the most diverse mixes of people I have ever seen in NYC. Order samosas, they are not on the menu but they have them if you ask. The tamarind sauce is through-the-roof delicious. The egglant appetizer is also delicious. We took home what we didn't eat and it's just as good the next day. I can't wait to go back.

They dropped the quality but I kept ordering from Masalawala until recently. The staff is not as polite now as they used to be. They used to say ‘come in wait in? At the bar’; now the staff treat people as if they are not welcome there. Disappointing
