We’re sorry to hear that you left with this impression of our restaurant. However, we would like to provide some context regarding your visit. When you asked our staff what Barg was, they simply explained that it is a steak kebab, as they would for any guest unfamiliar with Afghan cuisine. Our staff was only trying to be helpful and answer your question. Unfortunately, you expressed dissatisfaction with our pricing and chose to leave before placing an order. We have proudly served the community since 1984, and hospitality and respect are deeply rooted in Afghan culture and our business. We welcome questions about our menu and always strive to treat every guest with courtesy and professionalism. While we respect everyone’s right to share their experience, we also believe it’s important to provide an accurate account of what took place. We wish you all the best. There is a reason we are in the same location in Downtown Flushing since 1984 my friend. If you are ever in Long Island we have another branch that’s been open since 2016 in Westbury at 247 Post Avenue.
