Had the Luncheon Special - Mongolian Beef with white rice, egg roll, and hot and sour soup. The Mongolian Beef was better than most places I've tried around town, tender beef with onions and green onion in a savory, slightly sweet sauce. Egg roll was crispy and not greasy at all, definitely above average. Good value for $10.50. Staff was very attentive, water never got empty and food came out fast. Parking: Huge shared strip center lot, easy in and out. Plenty of open spots right out front even during lunch rush. Atmosphere: Classic old-school Chinese restaurant. Spacious, quiet, clean. Dark wood carved chairs, green marble tables, patterned ceiling tiles, red lanterns over the bar. Not fancy or modern, but comfortable and relaxed for lunch. Only knock is there was a slight drain / sewage smell at times inside. I've noticed the same thing in a lot of older strip-mall spots like this though, and it wasn't strong enough to ruin the meal. Will be back.
Glad you enjoyed the Luncheon Special and the Mongolian Beef! I'll check on that smell, thanks for letting me know. Looking forward to having you back!
