I was really excited to try this place, especially the beef samosas, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I visited Sunday, October 4th around 7pm and immediately felt unwelcome. I asked a few simple questions because I’m unfamiliar with Ethiopian food, but the staff seemed bothered by me asking. I was recommended the Aman Signature Tibs and waited about 25 minutes for my food. Unfortunately, the beef samosas were cold and soggy, the beef was tough, and the food wasn’t hot. After waiting 25 minutes, I honestly don’t understand how the samosas could have been served that way. The coffee was really good, but unfortunately that was the highlight of my visit. I know this restaurant has mostly positive reviews, so maybe I caught them on a bad night, but based on my experience, I really wish I could have left a better review.
Thank you for sharing your honest impressions. We’re truly sorry your visit missed the mark, and we are committed to addressing these concerns with greater care. Sincerely, Bahel Ethiopean Mart and Kitchen
