An absolute standout in Clarendon! The ordering process is smooth with their two self-serve kiosks, making for an exceptionally fast and seamless service. As for the food, the cold noodles are incredibly refreshing in a punchy chili-oil sauce, and pairing them with the silky, comforting savory tofu custard makes for the ultimate meal. Highly recommend!

Visited during what seemed to be their soft opening after seeing the location listed as open on Google. Totally understand limited menus or some chaos early on, but the experience was very confusing. There was a sign saying “closed for private event,” yet the restaurant was full and people were lining up and ordering like normal. We joined the line, but a staff member at the counter waved us off from a distance and told us they were closed and to leave. It would really help if the sign included specific dates or clearer details. Their social media also made it seem like business as usual, which is why we came. Having someone at the door to direct people would make a big difference. For a well-known chain, this felt surprisingly disorganized and amateur.

Like you mentioned, Jason, and I'm quoting: "There was a sign saying 'closed for private event' ", and also like you mentioned,"...a staff member at the counter waved us off from a distance and told us they were closed and to leave." Because it was a very successful private event, our staff were multitasking, so while we had multiple staff at the door, everyone was busy, so they weren't able to catch you right away, which is why the staff behind counter intervened to inform you to avoid having you wait unnecessarily in line. And yes, the private event involved invited guests experiencing the ordering process. And as for our social media appear "business as usual", well, yes, it is operational because we have 19 other locations in nyc operating.
