The Verandah Kitchen

I've visited twice now, and both times the food was good overall. It's a very small, intimate restaurant with probably 20 seats inside and just a couple of tables outside. If you're coming with a larger group, I'd definitely recommend calling ahead because a party of eight could easily take up half the restaurant! During my first visit, I thought the long wait might have been due to staff still learning the ropes. However, the wait was just as long during my second visit, so service speed is definitely an area that could use improvement. Would I recommend giving it a try? Absolutely! The food is good, the atmosphere is cozy, and the young staff is sweet and welcoming. Would I return for a third visit? Probably not. There are simply too many other restaurants nearby to explore, and for me, repeat visits are reserved for places where both the food and service are exceptional. It's worth experiencing for yourself, though—just bring a little patience!

Love the small plates concept. You can try many different dishes all at once and they are all delicious! Many great options for vegan and vegetarians. Service is great and the atmosphere is super cute and cozy.
