This has been our go to restaurant for years in Passyunk Square. The food has always been consistent, flavorful, with generous portions and the staff is always thoughtful around inquiring about spice levels. The dining room is cozy with a great view of the fountain and square that lends itself to people watching on the Avenue. The restaurant also has a delightful back patio for outdoor dining. The restaurant seems to do far more takeout business than dine in, but nothing is better than getting these tasty dishes piping out and fresh right out of the kitchen Highlights are the fresh baked naan, butter chicken and Gobi Manchurian and Chili Paneer appetizers. The Palace is a reliable and consistent gem for Indian food in South Philly.
