The food was beyond incredible. The vegetarian/vegan options were specifically extraordinarily flavorful. They weren’t trying to imitate meat and they didn’t need to; the actual taste of the ingredients shined. Prices were certainly high but fair for the portion sizes and the novelty of a genre of food I’ve never had before. The service was another story. Our server was friendly enough, but she was regularly complaining about other customers which rubbed me the wrong way. Also, too much cursing. It was just,, weird. I personally don’t care much about service when the food is that good, but I feel like the restaurant should probably care.

I’m Afghan. I was looking forward to a meal after work. This is not Afghan food. I spent $100, forced myself to eat what I could because I was hungry and couldn’t even eat the rice after one spoon. Gave what was left to our dog.
