The Egyptian Cafe

Don’t think this is just a hooka bar, the food is amazingly authentic. We enjoyed a sampler type platter with hummus, baba ganush, leaf rolls and falafel. Every bite was just right. Also had a very tasty lamb gyro with fries. The place is well decorated with nice Egyptian touches, and is well attended. For drinks we enjoyed a lemonade type drink and hibiscus ice tea. Both intense and tasty. Very reasonably priced.

Absolutely love the food, ambiance, and hookah. Excellent vibes and I hope they continue to grow in clientele downtown. Even if you don't hookah, please stop by for dinner! I loved the Koshari and falafel. The mint lemonade is also fantastic
