Tabor Ethiopian Restaurant

Amazing place and service. Great palate and presentation

This was my second time dining at Tabor Ethiopian Restaurant. My first experience was great, which is why I decided to return. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience was disappointing. We waited approximately 45 minutes for our appetizers and then an additional 15 minutes for our main platter to arrive. The service was not the best, and the overall experience fell short of what I expected. To make matters worse, we were charged for two platters but only received one full platter of food. We were also charged extra for vegetables that should have been included with the second platter we originally ordered. When I tried to explain the issue to our server, I did not feel that my concerns were fully understood or addressed. Additionally, considering we were a party of five, I feel our server could have been more proactive by recommending a larger combination platter that would have better accommodated our group. The food itself is tasty, and I did enjoy my first visit, but good food alone is not enough to make up for long wait times, poor communication, and billing issues. Waiting nearly an hour for our food, only to have issues with our order and final bill, was frustrating. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't see myself returning anytime soon. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration and works on improving the service, communication, and overall dining experience for future customers.
