Hi Adam, we’re sorry there was confusion about your charge, and we’d like to clarify what happened. The buffet price was $25, and after tax the total should have been around $29. Our payment system also asks customers to select a tip amount before completing the transaction. You selected the no-tip option, but it appears the system may have registered the option next to it instead, which caused the higher total. When you called us, we explained that the amount you were charged did not seem correct and asked you to come back so we could reopen the transaction, check exactly what happened, and refund any incorrect charge. Unfortunately, the call ended before we were able to resolve it. We also tried calling you back twice afterward because we genuinely wanted to fix the situation. We would never intentionally charge a customer more than they owe or hide an additional charge. We value our customers and always want to handle any billing issue fairly.
