update 10/4/2026: Spanglish donated chicken quesadillas, tacos, and baked ziti to our Taste of the World at Fort Totten gala and it was such an incredible spread. The quesadillas were crispy and cheesy, the tacos were filled with juicy seasoned chicken, and the baked ziti was a comforting cheesy delight. It was a fantastic mix of flavors that had everyone coming back for more. I am so grateful to businesses like Spanglish for supporting The Center for the Women of New York and our mission. They really care. If you are in the mood for bold flavors and great food, this is your spot. Go check them out. On behalf of The Center for the Women of New York, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Spanglish for their generous and delicious donation of enchiladas de pollo to our Taste of the World at Fort Totten gala. Spanglish’s enchiladas de pollo were a true crowd-pleaser—tender shredded chicken wrapped in soft corn tortillas, smothered in a rich, savory sauce, and topped with melted cheese. The dish was bursting with authentic flavor and warmth, and it was clear that each component was prepared with care and tradition in mind. Our guests couldn’t get enough! We’re so grateful for Spanglish’s continued support and commitment to our cause. It’s because of dedicated local businesses like theirs that we’re able to raise essential funds to support women across New York. Their generosity year after year makes a meaningful impact on our community. We highly recommend Spanglish for their mouthwatering Mexican cuisine and their unwavering generosity. Thank you for helping make our event a success once again
After being so disappointed with the taco spot across the street, we decided to give this place a try. Honestly, we didn’t have very high expectations going in, so we were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was! We ordered both the shrimp tacos and the fish tacos. They did take a little while to come out, but once they arrived, we completely understood why they were made fresh and were definitely worth the wait. The fish tacos were easily my favorite. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being tender, and the flavor was SO good. Every bite was flavorful, and I honestly couldn’t stop eating them. You can tell there was a lot more care put into these than your average taco. The shrimp tacos were good too and definitely worth trying, but for me, they didn’t come close to the fish tacos. Those fish tacos were the real star of the meal! I’m actually glad we gave this place a chance because it completely exceeded our expectations. I would 100% come back and honestly, I’d come back just for those fish tacos. 🌮🤤🔥
