I recently visited Savor Pulao and Kabab in VA, and unfortunately, it fell way short of expectations. Right from the start, we were greeted with a cold, unwelcoming attitude from the staff, and there was an unpleasant smell inside the venue that made dining in quite off-putting. We ordered the 2 Double Pulao, Chargha, and Fried Chicken, and the food quality was deeply inconsistent: Shami Kabab: This was the single highlight of the entire meal—it was the only item that actually tasted good. Double Pulao: The chicken piece inside the pulao was decent, but the rice itself was a letdown. It didn't taste anything like real Savor pulao and came across as very average. Fried Chicken: The quality here was terrible. Out of the two pieces we received, one drumstick felt practically raw inside, which is a major safety concern. Chargha: This was not authentic Chargha. The marination lacked flavor and proper seasoning, leaving us with a very mediocre taste considering the cost. Overall, the prices here simply do not line up with the food quality or portions served. Between the lack of hospitality, unpleasant atmosphere, and undercooked or subpar dishes, I cannot recommend this place. The management needs to make real, serious improvements across both service and the kitchen.
