Ruta Oaxaca Mexican Cuisine

Had a good experience at Ruta Oaxaca Mexican Cuisine! The food was flavorful, and the guacamole tasted fresh and handmade—it was definitely a highlight. The Mexican décor is beautiful, with lots of interesting details to look at throughout the restaurant. It gives the space a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Customer service was great, with no complaints at all! The only downside was the pricing—the drinks felt a little expensive for their size, and the food was also on the pricier side for the portions. Parking can be difficult, but that’s expected for the location. Overall, good food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. I’d happily visit again!

We moved out of Astoria about 5 years ago and we still think of this restaurant. We went several times a year when we lived there and once when visiting. Still the same incredible food and wonderful service.
