Rus Uz

It's basically a scam. I paid over $30 for a dinner meal of Plov as takeout and instead they stuffed half the container with salad that I did not order nor was on the item description. I am actually submitting for a partial refund request with Uber Eats and suspending the charge with my bank. Such a sleezy way to do business.

Very disappointing experience at Rus Uz in Washington, DC. My wife ordered a broccoli dish, and when she was almost finished eating, she noticed what appeared to be a cooked worm or larva in the food. It was extremely disturbing to realize that she had eaten almost the entire dish before noticing it. This was especially upsetting because we still had a long drive from Washington, DC to Georgia ahead of us. She felt sick and kept thinking about what had happened throughout the entire trip. We immediately informed the staff. They apologized and offered us a dessert, but after finding a worm in the food, we had no interest in eating anything else and decided to leave. Later, I checked the payment and realized that we had still been charged the full price for the dish containing the worm. I understand that mistakes can happen, but finding a worm or larva in prepared food is extremely unacceptable. At the very least, I expected the restaurant to remove the charge for the affected dish. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews its food preparation and inspection procedures. This experience completely ruined our meal and left us with a very unpleasant impression of the restaurant.
