I recently visited Prime Asian Lounge with my parents and ordered the Mediterranean Mix Grill / Combo Special for three people, including dry chicken lollipops. Unfortunately, the entire experience was extremely disappointing, from the slow service to the food quality and management’s response. The service was surprisingly slow, especially considering that only my parents, myself, and one other customer were present at the time. Despite serving just two separate parties, the server seemed confused, disorganized, and unable to manage our orders properly. If the restaurant struggles to provide efficient service with so few customers, it raises serious concerns about how it would handle a full house. First, the server brought butter chicken and naan to our table, even though we had never ordered those items. She told us the main entrée was ready, and I had to explain that we had not ordered that food. Second, she brought broken plates to our table, which was unacceptable and concerning from a safety perspective. When I informed the manager, he repeatedly explained that the dishwasher had broken the plates while washing them. That is not a satisfactory excuse. Regardless of how the plates were damaged, they should have been checked and removed before being served to customers. Third, when our appetizers arrived, the sauce was served without a spoon. These repeated mistakes made the entire dining experience frustrating. To make matters worse, some pieces of chicken tikka kebab in our Mediterranean Mix Grill appeared undercooked, raising serious concerns about food preparation and safety. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that I gave this restaurant a positive review about five months ago. Unfortunately, this visit was such a letdown that I feel compelled to change my rating to one star. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant, but consistently slow service despite having very few customers, incorrect orders, broken plates, missing utensils, concerns about undercooked chicken, and an unsatisfactory response from management are unacceptable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues.
