Pho Nam

Really great pho. The broth is deep and clean - you can tell it simmers for hours - and the herbs and sprouts came out fresh and generous. Fast, friendly service too. Exactly the kind of spot you hope to find. We'll be back.

I was in the mood for Vietnamese food, and Pho Nam was a name worth checking out. I enjoy meals that are comforting but still have plenty of flavor, and Vietnamese cuisine is one of my favorites for that. It's also nice to have an alternative when I'm tired of eating the same things all the time. I’d keep Pho Nam in mind for a casual lunch or dinner when I’m craving something different from my usual meals.

We had high expectations for this place but were sadly a bit disappointed. The atmosphere is beautiful inside, even decorated with an old-school television that plays different videos. However, the pho broth itself is lacking flavor and the meatballs were fattier than normal. The Vietnamese pizza was okay. You can find more flavorful vietnamese food for cheaper at other places. The aesthetic of this place is super cute with the typical metal dishes found in many asian homes, just wish the food lived up to it a little more.
