Easily the best Haitian food in the city. I got the oxtail, my friends (Haitian) got the meatballs with sauce and the beef legume. The baked Haitian mac is one of the best I've had as well. Everything was packed with flavor, can't wait to come back and try everything else on the menu.

Thank you so much! Hearing you call us the best Haitian food in the city really means a lot to me and the team. I’m glad you and your friends enjoyed everything. We’ll be ready for you when you come back to work your way through the rest of the menu. Thank you for supporting Noula. See you again soon

The Tasso was overly cooked which means it wasn’t fresh and the portions were very small

Reply from the business

Thank you for your feedback. We respect your opinion regarding the portion size, but I do want to clarify something about the food. In all my years in the food business, this is the first time I’ve heard that “overcooked” automatically means “not fresh.” Food can certainly be overcooked, but that does not mean it wasn't freshly prepared. Regarding the portion, if you felt the amount you received was not enough for you, we would have been happy to help you purchase an additional portion. However, I respectfully disagree with suggesting that the food was not fresh simply because you felt the Tasso was overcooked. We welcome criticism when we make a mistake because it gives us an opportunity to improve, but we also believe reviews should accurately represent the experience. We stand behind the freshness and quality of the food we serve at Noula. It is a noble thing to honest.
