Bun Bo Hue and Pho Dac Biet are top notch here. All of their rice dishes are delicious and my vegetarian friend enjoyed her pho. They're very generous with the veggies. Be aware it's a small space and ideal for 2 people. If you have a group of 3-4, best to go during off hours. This is where you go to get a quick, fresh meal and move on because there are other customers waiting. Not for a long gossip session with your friends (pretty loud in here). Unfortunately, many people living in the neighborhood are coming in rude and entitled. This is a SMALL space. Not sure why y'all are okay waiting an hour in line for a mid sandwich but complaining about 20 minutes here. It is getting colder. Come dressed warmly and be prepared to wait/dine outside. Also--it's NOT okay to tip ONLY $3 even if you're "just" getting 1 bowl of pho. You are receiving table service, have some decency. Their prices have stayed reasonable (unlike other Viet establishments in NYC). ***BEST: Bring cash for your tip***
