Wow. I was initially hesitant to stop by here since there are many affordable Vietnamese restaurants nearby but this one is incredible. You truly get your money’s worth and everything I ate was spectacular. The bún bò xào had some of the most tender and flavorful beef I’ve ever eaten. The bún chả hà nội was also very succulent and came with a remarkable broth. Lastly, the dessert didn’t disappoint either. The flan was immensely rich and well-coated with cognac.

Very disappointing. Fried spring rolls were delicious but were presented poorly: no garnish or greens. Portions were not large. Papaya salad was bland and tasteless— like they forgot to finish the fish with and dressing or seasoning. Bun Cha Ha Noi had nice smoky meat but everything else about it was bland. Yoghurt dessert was just sugar in yoghurt with a few dark rice pieces. Not authentic but playing it safe. No wonder it was largely empty on a Saturday night.

Hi Peter, We're sorry your dinner was disappointing, though we're glad you enjoyed the Imperial rolls and the smoky flavor of our Bun Cha Ha Noi. Ngon's cooking is rooted in our family's Northern Vietnamese recipes. We respect that tastes differ, and we take your comments about seasoning, portions and presentation seriously. We'll review these with our kitchen team. The dessert you mentioned Sua chua nep cam, a traditional Vietnamese combination of Velvet creamy yogurt and black sticky rice. We're sorry our version fell short of your expectation.
