Once you're seated and the moment the food hits the table, though, the lobby trauma instantly evaporates. This is one of the better dim sum spots in Flushing, and in a neighborhood where dim sum is practically an Olympic sport. The har gow are plump and translucent, the siu mai are packed with flavor, and everything comes out piping hot and fresh instead of tasting like it’s been taking a scenic tour of the dining room for an hour. It is a bit on the pricier side compared to the classic push-cart chaos spots nearby. Consider it a luxury tax for your taste buds, because it is worth it. Come hungry, come early (or mentally prepared to wait).
