Mezè is Adams Morgan's longtime Turkish and Mediterranean meze restaurant, serving Washington DC since 2001. Our menu is built for sharing: warm mezze, crisp salads, wood-grilled kebabs, and desserts like künefe, all halal. The bar pours 16 signature mojitos, Mediterranean wine, and Turkish coffee cocktails. Join us for dinner, late-night bites, or weekend bottomless brunch. We also host private events: weddings and rehearsal dinners, birthdays, showers, corporate dinners and full buyouts in our upstairs Gold Room, which seats 60 or holds 110 standing. Our heated outdoor patio seats up to 20. In 2026 we celebrate 25 years with a special $25 menu.

My fiancée and I moved to the DC area about a month ago, and this place has already become one of our favorites. We've been back twice just for the mojitos. Friendly service and a great atmosphere to match.
My son and I enjoyed a delicious Turkish dinner on Saturday night, in the outdoor Café alongside the sidewalk on 18th St. We loved the zucchini pancakes, particularly since we’re Italian Americans, and used to eating zucchini! My son had the Adana Kebap, grilled ground lamb with rice and veggies. I had the delicious lamb shank, slowly simmered in a wonderful tomato sauce with rice. For dessert we really loved the Kunefe shredded wheat pancake, with white cheese and crushed pistachio nuts covered by a delicious lemon syrup!! Since the server was the maître de, we had excellent service!!
