A hidden Jamaican gem in Brooklyn! 🇯🇲 I discovered this spot while sitting in my car waiting for my daughter to get her nails done next door. Curiosity got the best of me, and I’m so glad I gave it a try! The curry goat, curry chicken, and jerk pork were delicious, with a beautiful balance of flavors—not overpowering or overly salty. I’ll definitely be back!
If you want REAL Jamaican food in Brooklyn, go to McKenzies! Damion is an excellent owner — the place is spotless, the service is friendly and fast, and the food is OUTSTANDING. Jerk chicken, oxtail, rice & peas, plantain. But yuh see that Salmon they, BOOM!!! — All full of flavor and cooked just right. Nice atmosphere, respectful staff, you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. 5 stars all day! Bless Up Mckenzies.
No complaints at all five stars!! First time will be coming back.. got the stew chicken with rice and peas and a Jamaican patty & a ginger lemonade .. everything was on point..
