Mariscos El Barco

We were excited to try this restaurant because the photos looked beautiful, and the menu photos were equally impressive. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to our expectations. They start you off with complimentary fish ceviche and tortilla chips, which was a nice touch. The guacamole with fried pork belly was good, although it could have used a little more seasoning. We ordered the Grill Texana, and this was the biggest disappointment. The steak was a poor cut, not very tender, and lacked flavor. It definitely needed more salt and seasoning. The chicken was very dry, and the shrimp were also lacking flavor. Overall, the entire dish was underwhelming. The ceviche we ordered was just okay and not particularly memorable. The carne asada tacos were also just average. The margarita was fine but nothing special. Overall, we were disappointed with the food. The restaurant looks inviting, and the photos certainly create high expectations, but unfortunately, the flavors and execution of the dishes we tried did not meet them.

Excelente, muy amable el servicio. Lo recomiendo, para los amantes de mariscos
