Mana Modern Chinese

These days, in an attempt to update the image of the same old boring Chinese food, restaurants are often adding some sort of idea of a "modern" cuisine to attract customers and they fail dismally....but not Mana. This eatery truly satisfies and proves that the word modern paired with the word Chinese = delicious. We started with the braised ribs. Cooked to perfection the sauce was so yummy that I considered grabbing the plate and licking it clean. It was that interesting and enjoyable. I had the Lychee infused curry. Who would have thought that lychees would add a softness and elegance to a dish as to change its taste entirely...and for the better!!! Quite simply it is amazing!!! In addition, the Jade Harmony rice was excellent. A totally vegetarian dish that tasted anything but bland...which often is the result when labeled vegetarian. The staff was excellent and carefully looked after us all night. A great place to eat excellent food and just enjoy the people you have come with

The reviews are not exaggerating. The service was friendly and consistent. The waitresses recommended dishes that turned out amazing. We tried the dim sum sampler, crab Rangoon roll-ups, coconut lychee curry with duck and Duck and noodle affair. Everything was a 10/10, and the timing of the food and appetizers was perfect. The dim sum takes a little longer, so we had the rolls first. By the time we were done the dim sum our entrees were ready. They have a fun selection of non alcoholic drinks as well with flavors like green tea, mango and lychee.

Chinese food for dinner, trying a new place in Philly. . Super good the shrimp dumplings, I got they’re shaped like little bunnies and so cute and they’re really good. They’re in like this spicy soy sauce. My brother got the pork soup, dumplings, of course they were really good to him except he was eating it wrong. . My parents got this rib eye that it’s black because of the soy sauce, it was pretty good, then my parents got it type of thing and noodle bowl thing. . Then for dessert is called custard bloom, it’s this mochi doughnut that shaped like a carrot with custard inside, then sweet condensed milk, drizzle over it, with sprinkles of Oreo and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
