Mackey’s Caribbean Cuisine

Absolutely terrible experience with Mackeys Caribbean Cuisine. I placed a DoorDash order for 2 plates of jerk chicken and 2 Cokes. Somehow, this restaurant managed to send me ONLY ONE plate of food, while still remembering to send both Cokes. How do you forget an entire FULL PLATE of food but somehow remember to send the drinks? 🤦🏽‍♀️ And the food I actually received was disgusting. The cabbage was terrible, and the jerk chicken had basically NO flavor whatsoever. For the amount of money people spend on food from here, this quality is completely unacceptable. I called the restaurant about the missing plate, and they already knew they had forgotten it. They literally admitted that the missing food was their fault on the store’s end. So people are paying for full meals and leaving with missing food because of mistakes the restaurant already knows they’re making? That is beyond unprofessional. This isn’t just about forgetting an item — it’s about taking people’s money and not making sure they receive what they paid for. Then on top of that, the food I DID receive wasn’t even good. Missing an entire plate of food, poor food quality, and extremely unprofessional service. I will not be ordering from here again. People work hard for their money, and they deserve to actually receive the food they paid for and have it be worth the price. Definitely a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.
