Lucky Tigre

I've been wanting to stop by Lucky Tigre for a few months. I'm glad Ib finally got the chance to stop by, it was fantastic. Great flavors, friendly staff and good vibes here.

The lechon kawali was delicious! The pork belly skin that was beautifully crispy and a satisfying crunch in every bite. The atchara was the perfect accompaniment, cutting through the richness and fattiness of the pork with its tangy sweetness, while the cucumber added a refreshing, clean contrast. Of the sauces, the chili carrot sauce was my personal favorite. The tamarind aioli was a fun twist, adding a tangy, creamy option. 10/10 recommend. The beef lumpia was freshly fried and delightfully crispy. Also, this was my first time trying pancit sotanghon! I’m more familiar with pancit bihon, thanks to the Filipino aunties at work who have introduced me to the dish. It was well seasoned and the flavor had depth.
