Little Manila Food truck

I absolutely love Little Manila Food Truck! I’ve been coming here so many times, ever since I first met them back when they were at the food hall. As a Filipina who moved to Charlottesville for work and away from my family in GA, it means so much to have a Filipino place nearby whenever I’m feeling homesick. Their pork BBQ, rice, pancit, and pork lumpia are my absolute favorites—so delicious! Every time I eat here and chat with them, I feel like I’m right back at home. Truly a gem in Charlottesville!

Little Manila serves genuinely delicious, authentic Filipino food, with each dish packed with flavor. Unfortunately, our experience had some drawbacks. We were given our food to-go even though we wanted to dine in, and the strong burnt oil smell, likely from poor ventilation, made the indoor atmosphere uncomfortable. On top of that, the area’s security is concerning—a visibly drunk individual was lingering around and even harassed the owner’s child, who was just playing with a ball outside. This encounter left the poor kid in tears. For a safer and more comfortable experience, we’d probably look for their food truck next time.
