La Carreta Restaurante

We went in with zero expectations, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! We were visiting family in Houston, about 2½ hours from home, and they suggested we try La Carreta. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The food was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was just as impressive! I especially loved the beautiful, colorful Mexican pottery. As a fellow restaurant owner, I understand the care and effort that go into creating a memorable dining experience. It’s refreshing to visit a restaurant where the pride they take in their food and hospitality is so evident. We had a wonderful time catching up with family in such a welcoming atmosphere. Great food, beautiful presentation, and exceptional hospitality!

This place exceeded my expectations. Flautas were crunchy and the ranchero chicken filling in the flautas were juicy and very flavorful. Sopes and huaraches were also fresh and flavorful. Portions were generous especially for the price!! I will definitely come here again. Customer service was also great 👍🏼
