La Cantina Grill

We waited for about 15 minutes to get a waiter to take our drink and appetizer order. We waited at least 30 minutes for the appetizer. Our entrees took another 30 minutes. When we asked about substituting flour tortillas instead of the corn tortillas for the birra tacos we were told " the kitchen will not budge". Never heard that before. I ordered chicken taquitos and found a bone in it, I almost choked. When I told the waiter he just looked at me and said"ok". I politely said we just want to leave. He gave us the bill and said " we gave you a little discount". My discount was, $4.54. I ate two bites of the rice, 1 bite of the cold beans, and 1 & 1/2 of the 4 taquitos. Beans were not warm at all. The good part of the meal was the queso fundito. Overall, slow service, mid grade food, long wait times. I usually leave positive reviews, but had to be completely honest about this.

Wouldn’t recommend getting a pick-up order for lunch here. All of staff except for one woman were very unhelpful. I arrived 5 minutes after the stated pickup time, and had to wait 7 more minutes until it was ready. Which wouldn’t have been so bad if the burrito meal i ordered wasn’t cold and the chicken wasn’t dry on arrival. The woman who gave it to me seemed apologetic, so that’s the only reason the service score is at three stars.
