La Antioqueña Bakery

Hello Sean, We are sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience. However, we would like to clarify several important points raised in your review. Any racist or discriminatory behavior is completely unacceptable at our establishment. Every customer, regardless of race, background, or nationality, deserves to be treated with respect. If you felt that an employee acted in a racist or discriminatory manner during your visit, management should have been notified immediately so that we could investigate the situation and, if warranted, reprimand or take appropriate disciplinary action against the employee. We do not tolerate discriminatory behavior from anyone on our team. Regarding the hygiene concerns, we take cleanliness and pest control very seriously. Our restaurant has weekly visits from a professional pest-control company as part of our ongoing prevention and sanitation program. If you observed cockroaches in the restroom, we would have appreciated being notified at the time so that management could have addressed the situation immediately. We also want to clarify that our restroom is cleaned daily and is part of our regular cleaning and maintenance routine. There was recently a leak originating from the faucet, which was identified and addressed. We understand that seeing a cockroach can be unpleasant and concerning, especially in a restaurant. That is precisely why we maintain a regular pest-control program and daily cleaning procedures. At the same time, we believe it is important to distinguish between an isolated incident and the overall sanitation practices we have in place. We take legitimate customer concerns seriously and are always willing to investigate issues when they are brought to our attention. Our goal is for every customer who walks through our doors to feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable. La Antioqueña Bakery & Restaurant
