⭐️ Honest Review of Khalil Biriyani – Jackson Heights My friend and me today visited Khalil Biriyani in Jackson Heights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The kacchi biriyani did not taste like authentic kacchi biriyani. The meat quality was also disappointing, and the overall taste was far below what we expected. At $18.99 per person, I expected much better food and quality. Another disappointment was that drinks such as borhani were not included in the price. The salad was served very simply, and the overall presentation felt below the standard I would expect from a restaurant specializing in biriyani. The service also needs significant improvement. Nobody came to check on us or asked whether we needed anything else. We visited around 2:30 PM, when the restaurant was very quiet, so I expected more attention from the staff. Overall, this visit was not a good experience for us. I’m sharing this review based on my personal experience and expectations as a customer. If you are planning to visit, I would suggest checking the current reviews and menu carefully before going, especially if you are specifically looking for authentic kacchi biriyani. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback positively and improves the food quality, meat quality, service, and overall customer experience.

It’s such an unassuming restaurant. Very simple, no atmosphere (not sure if it applies to this place but couple of colourful characters dining) but the food was delicious! I had the mutton briyani. Rice and meat melted in my mouth. Had a nice cooked potato in the rice too. Nice dump briyani as it’s callled. Another thing, I could hardly find any nice hot milk tea in NY and here, there was! I was very pleasantly surprised 😊 the place is just across the Roosevelt At-Jackson Heights subway. Affordable and filling meal. Look for Fastool. Nice gentleman in a beard 😊
