My wife and I like good Chinese food and based on the ratings decided to try Judy's. Coming from NJ, we are used to better than average Chinese restaurants. The third highest rated restaurant is walking distance to our house. The portions served here were better than we could expect at home for the same price. The flavor left a bit to be desired for my wife. She had the shrimp with lobster sauce and felt it was missing some flavors. When I tasted it I had to agree some flavor was missing. It also had an abundance of carrots. I had General Tso's Chicken. This was the spiciest I have ever had (no problem since I love spicy food.) The flavors were fine for my taste. The lettuce wrap appetizer was good. The soups only come in a large size, I would have liked to try a cup of hot and sour soup. There is no side fried rice, only full dinner size. I think this restaurant is worth the trip from the beach area. You will have some to take home.
