Amazing!! Everything! The customer service was amazing, she gave us many samples before ordering and gave us honest recommendations. The prices are so low for how much food you get (a whole plate was enough for two people). The drinks were a bit too sweet for my taste but they were soft and tasty. Nothing is overly seasoned and the meat is extremely soft and chewy. Great music, ambience, and all the tables were clean. We had the ox tail meal with sorrel and pineapple orange juice. She gave us a free mc and cheese portion! (The photos are half way through eating so you can imagine the actual serving is big!)

Late night food so expect late night crowd. Staff does their best to keep up. Got some patties. There’s a wait for them so best advice of when they bring out a platter of them is to go up and give them your order or you’ll wait for 30+ mins. They’re really good but on the thin side. Still worth the price honestly. Would go back for other food items

As soon as I mentioned this was our first time our hostess warmly welcomed us in and quickly offered us to sample their menu. As she prepared a very diverse plate with all their options, she walked us through everything and helped us pick the best option for us. She even served us a free side of Mac and cheese. She is VERY attentive and generous. I would come back just for the service. Not that the food is not worth coming back for! The food is delicious. I’ve never had Jamaican food before but I’ve had a very good first impression and will definitely be coming back. I feel like the plastic cutlery is a flex bc you really don’t need to cut into anything. The meat drips off the bone. I normally don’t enjoy the gooey fat part of any meat but this was definitely the exception everything was SO tasty. Prices are very fair imo! $30 gets you 2 drinks and a large plate for 2 people. I eat a lot and I was very satisfied. I would come here more often and order the small or medium plate for $5 and $7 respectively. I think those portions should be good for one person. Now the place itself is one of those things that you’ll either love or hate. I personally love it I think there’s something charming about a place with mismatched flooring and flickering old lights that serves great food and offers excellent service. But if that’s not your cup of tea, you can get your order to go! But def don’t miss out on the food or the service!
