Disappointing Food and Overall Experience We decided to try this restaurant after reading positive reviews. The location near Costco and Clearwater Beach is convenient, with plenty of parking. The waiter was very nice, friendly, and attentive, but unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. We ordered butter chicken and biryani. Both dishes were overly salty and lacked authentic Indian flavors. The biryani tasted more like plain white rice mixed with biryani seasoning rather than traditionally cooked biryani. When we complained about the saltiness and asked for the food to be remade with a normal amount of salt, they replaced it with noticeably smaller portions. When we pointed out the difference, they insisted the portions were the same, even though they clearly looked smaller. At that point, we felt uncomfortable and no longer wanted to dine in, so we asked to take the food to go instead. Overall, the waiter was great, but the food quality, portion inconsistency, and handling of our complaint made this a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
Dear Mohammed, We sincerely regret you had a bad experience. Upon investigation chef and staff told that salt was ok but we still remade all the food and you also said that the food was good. Both biryani and butter chicken are very popular dishes at our restaurant so it's very rare that they are not authentic. Again, regret you had a bad experience. Kind Regards, Team IB
