Dropped by this spot for a late lunch during the week and was pleasantly surprised. It was a nice chill environment. The decor and music was on point. They have a live DJ (inside) and an outdooe patio. They have several different events coming up for their customers. We spoke with who I assume is the owner, who was very friendly, talked about his hometown and restaurant and gave us a few recommendations since our first time. We tried the jerk chicken rasta pasta, veggie stew with peas and rice, fried plantains and chicken patties. All I can say is, the food was fresh and so good I didn't even get a chance to snap photos lol My friend said that the food was very much authentic Jamaican and right on par with what he's had when traveling and the best he's had in the Houston area. Needless to say, we'll be back and photos will be taken next time. 😉
