Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Our server Domingo was super rude from the very beginning and only checked on us one time during our entire visit. He did come back to give us the check, but never came back to pick it up, so someone else ultimately had to come over and check us out. What made it even more uncomfortable was that he kept questioning us about why we were “just” ordering chips and queso. We shouldn’t have to explain or justify what we choose to order. That’s literally one of the things El Charro is known for — the chips and queso! We came in expecting to enjoy ourselves and possibly order meals, but the attitude and service from the beginning completely changed our experience. We ended up only getting chips and queso because we honestly didn’t feel comfortable staying and ordering a full meal after being treated that way. The food wasn’t even the issue — the service was. Hopefully management addresses this because customers should feel welcomed and respected, regardless of what they order.
