This place has become an institution of sorts for dim sums, and they crank em out by the dozen. Had a quick bite here on my food tour of the area and ordered the Shao Long Bao Spicy Pork dumplings and Prawn Har Gao. The prawn har gaos were delicate and flavourful however the long baos lacked soup. Highly recommend none the less.

A great Chinatown staple, but watch your drink order. I'm only writing this because of one experience with the bar that I think other diners should know about. My family of four (two adults, two kids) came in on a Friday night a few months ago. We've been to Dim Sum Garden several times. I love the revamped space, and it's a solid spot for dim sum and everything else on the menu. It's a Chinatown staple for good reason. We were seated about eight or nine tables from the bar, far enough that I couldn't see drinks being poured. I ordered a Macallan 12. Anyone who drinks scotch knows the difference, and as soon as I tasted it, I knew it wasn't Macallan. It tasted like Dewar's, a much cheaper blended scotch. I sent it back and asked for an actual Macallan 12, and that's what I got the second time. But I shouldn't have had to. Whether it was a mistake or an attempt to pass off a cheaper pour, it wasn't right, and I wonder how many other customers have been served the wrong thing without noticing. The food and atmosphere keep me coming back, but if you order top-shelf liquor here, taste it before you drink up, or ask to see the bottle.
