Edit: The proprietor reached out to me and made me an offer to redeem his restaurant so I took him up on it. I went by today and he very politely listened to my concern and apologized. He gave me one of his Daal Makhni, which is a classic Lentil with Kidney Bean in a tomato base and my other go-to when avoiding meat. It was not only excellent, but bold and filling even without rice. While I waited I took a look around the place and found it very nice and cozy, clean and tidy. Everyone has a bad day from time to time. I will be back. First time ordering from this place and I had take out so can't speak to the service or atmosphere but the place looks really nice inside. I got the Daal Tadka, which is one of my go--to Indian dishes when I am trying to avoid meat and this was more of a soup than I have experienced from other places. It tasted good but for the price I would like some actual vegetable matter in it. if it weren't for the rice, I would have been still very hungry after eating (or drinking) it.

A guy with big beard was surprised why we entered in the restaurant! Felt like he did not want us there! Felt very unwelcoming even if entire restaurant was empty! Had cup of Indian tea, which was Okay. We get better Indian tea in any restaurant in UK. Will not go again.
