The staff was very rude and unprofessional. Management act racist . I ended up leaving and going elsewhere. If you’re black don’t waste your time or money.. I believe that every customer should be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness regardless of their race or background. The treatment I received fell far below that standard. The conduct I experienced was deeply upsetting and made me feel unwelcome and disrespected as a customer. I will never revisit this place again!
this place is terrible, biased, and discriminatory service.I sat down and was given water and a menu, but when the server asked if I was ready, I asked for a few minutes. After that, I was completely erased. I sat ready to order in a mostly empty restaurant inside for 40 mins , while a lighter-skinned girl walked in few minutes after that . The exact same server—a tall, older guy who also works the bar—rushed to give her water and immediately took her order right in front of my face. Another waitress even tried to serve her a second time while completely bypassing me. After being ignored for so long, I told the young lady I was ready to order, I was so disappointed, I just asked for the bill. He handed it to me, the same old white looking guy with beard and hat, I left cash on the table, and went to the restroom. As I was leaving, this same server stopped me to aggressively ask if I "closed out." To ignore a Black customer trying to order, but then watch them like a criminal when they try to leave is a disgusting microaggression. It is incredibly nasty to treat people of color this way, especially in a predominantly Black neighborhood. Absolutely unacceptable. Do better.
