Condesa is a modern Mexican restaurant in the heart of Center City, Philadelphia, opened in October 2019 by the award-winning team at Defined Hospitality. Located in Philadelphia’s lively Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, Condesa is named after the vibrant neighborhood in Mexico City, honoring the long-standing traditions, techniques, and flavors of Mexico, while also incorporating hyper-local, seasonal ingredients from the Philadelphia area. The restaurant is known for its housemade masa, prepared in-house daily, and is one of the only restaurants in the city to nixtamalize its corn onsite. The beverage program celebrates the artisan producers of mezcal, tequila and other agave-based spirits with a selection of ingredient-driven cocktails.
