I think many reviews are fake. Note the chat gpt em dashes and multiple paragraph, unrealistic reviews that sound like a journalist from the 90s. This is a takeout place with tables that opened as a restaurant concept but couldn't sustain it. I thought otherwise. I'll never return unless I'm literally forced to be on that block.

The food is excellent!!!! Even though the kitchen was closed Renelson made sure I still had something to eat. Judy the bartender was still smiling after a long shift. Thank you all. As an Haitian, after driving over an hour Chez Aviole made my evening. I’ll definitely be back.

I ordered griot through DoorDash, and can you imagine the fried pork was RAW, undercooked, and COLD?! Absolutely disgusting! The plantains were tough too! I knew something was wrong when my order was picked up so quickly. I said to myself, “Wow, they must have some fresh griot ready!” LIES! I will report this restaurant to the Health Department. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, I received absolutely no help. Instead, I was told they could give my number to their manager so the manager could call me back. Seriously?! This is completely unacceptable! Serving undercooked pork is a serious food safety concern. The food was terrible, and the customer service was just as bad. If you want to risk getting sick, go check them out! I certainly won’t be ordering from here again. ZERO STARS!
