The best plov I’ve ever had in the US. It was so delicious, I can’t forget the plov I used to eat in Crimea, up in the mountains. The manti were flavorful, tender, and made with thin dough. This is the best Uzbek food I’ve ever had here. Highly recommend!
Great tasting kebabs and food overall. I was not a big fan of harcho though

Loved everything we ate there. The kebab platter and salads were fantastic. Was very disappointed they were out of plov but we’ll come back.
I had heard great things about this place and I was so disappointed. My father had some lamb that he very much enjoyed. But the sides were not impressive. Some of the flavors were overpowering and not to my taste. I ordered the Branzino and it was very spicy. And this was after I asked and was told that the sauce was not spicy. It was supposed to come with vegetables; Squash, tomatoes, red peppers and onion are not vegetables. They were delicious, but they are not vegetables. The kicker was the 20% service charge on the bill. And they also expect a gratuity on top of the service charge. The service is not what I would have given that generous of a tip. The service was inattentive and unreliable. There were things we requested 3 times before receiving.

Regarding the Branzino, the vegetables served with the dish are listed on our menu, so guests can see exactly what accompanies the fish when ordering. We are sorry that the sauce was spicier than you expected, especially after you specifically asked about it. We will address this with our staff so that descriptions are communicated more accurately. We would also like to clarify the 20% service charge. It is clearly stated on our menu. Our servers do not ask or expect guests to leave an additional gratuity on top of the service charge. The additional tip option appears automatically on the payment system and can simply be declined by selecting “No Tip.” Regarding the service, the restaurant was extremely busy and we had a full dining room that evening. Our servers were doing their best to give every table proper attention. That said, having to ask three times for something is not the level of service we want to provide, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We value every guest and appreciate your feedback. We hope you will give Chayhana Samarkand another opportunity in the future so we can provide you with a better overall experience.

Today I visited Samarkand Teahouse for the first time, and I truly enjoyed my experience. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors—you can really tell it is prepared with care. A special thank you to the staff for their genuine hospitality, attentiveness, and kindness. Even though I came alone, I felt genuinely welcomed and comfortable throughout my visit. This is the perfect place to enjoy authentic Central Asian cuisine, relax, and leave with a smile. I will definitely be back and highly recommend Samarkand Teahouse to anyone looking for delicious food and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

This is the real deal with real food!!! There is love in this food and with flavors that I absolutely love !!!! Must eat here! 10 stars!!! Lamb chops my favorite……
