Cafe Seulanga

Most delicious meatball soup! I always get it to go and it’s packaged nicely with crispy fried crackers, noodles, vegetables, sambal, kecap manis, lime, and of course succulent meatballs. I believe they’re cash only but they have Zelle and Venmo codes up front you can scan. Amazing spot!

As a non-Indonesian, I have tried all of the Indonesian spots in South Philly (even the most famous one with me mural outside) and THIS GEM right here is with no doubt the best of them all. They usually have different dishes but their ayam bakar, nasi padang, bakwan sayur, lontong sayur, bakso soup, gado gado, etc. are soooooo incredibly delicious (and everything is halal)! At the top of all this, Mutja and the women working there are the sweetest, nicest, most welcoming people in town. They make coming to this place feels like a blessing throughout the day. 💗🇮🇩💗 Long live and prosperity to this restaurant and all of the incredible humans that make it.
