I visited this establishment for a birthday celebration with a group of friends, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, although the food left a bit to be desired. The staff was welcoming, and since we had a reservation, my party was seated pretty quickly. The ambiance was nice, warm, and inviting, which initially had me looking forward to a great dining experience. Our group was seated at a cozy table toward the back near the bar area, which was a comfortable spot for celebrating and catching up. Our waitress was also the bartender. She explained that she normally doesn’t work weekends but was filling in for someone that day. She was definitely busy juggling the bar and our table, but despite being pulled in different directions, she still made an effort to check on us. Unfortunately, the food was more mediocre than memorable. I was especially excited to try the crab rangoon, but I was disappointed after tasting it because I couldn’t detect any crab meat at all. When I mentioned this to our server, she assured me that there was fresh crab meat inside. However, no one at our table could taste even a hint of crab. Maybe we just got a batch that missed the mark—or perhaps they accidentally forgot the crab... lol! Either way, it was not what I expected from a crab rangoon. The egg rolls looked appealing when they arrived, but unfortunately, they had a somewhat gooey or undercooked aftertaste that I didn’t particularly enjoy. The edamame, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious 😋. The chicken fried rice lacked flavor and could have used more seasoning. After adding some salt, pepper, and soy sauce, though, it was much more enjoyable. Despite the food being underwhelming, I still enjoyed spending time with my friends and celebrating a special occasion in a nice and inviting atmosphere. Overall, I’d say the atmosphere and company made the experience enjoyable, but the food didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I’m not completely certain whether I would return, but I’m not ruling it out just yet.
