Binondo was a great find for Filipino food in Chinatown. They definitely put their own spin on some of the dishes, which made the meal a little more interesting. The kare-kare was really good, and the salpicao with garlic rice was probably one of the standouts for me. The flavors worked really well together, and the garlic rice was a perfect match. The adobo was also good, but definitely different from what I’m used to. It was almost more like a barbecue-style preparation, whereas I usually think of adobo as a wetter, more sauce-heavy dish. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with some creative takes on Filipino classics. I’d definitely come back and try more of the menu.
